Last May, the NMY participated in a collaboration project to help raise money for the people of Japan after the devastating earthquake and tsunami of 2011. We folded paper cranes along with thousands of others around the world.  Each crane that was received triggered a dollar donation from the Bezos Family Foundation.  All of the cranes will become a part of an art installation in a school in Japan. The artist Vik Muniz created the poster above from all the cranes received.  The poster is being sold to continue to raise funds for reconstruction projects in Japan.
