Amazing Red Tide Bioluminescent Waves at La Jolla (by yellowwproductions)

I hope that you have all had a chance to see the amazing light show that nature is putting on this week.  The blue waves are a product of the bioluminescence of the phytoplankton called Lingulodinium polyedrum.  It is the cause of the “red tide.” It is starting to clear up but there are still places you can catch a glimpse of this natural wonder.
