NotesAcids and Bases
In 7th and 8th Grade Science, the students have begun exploring the notion of an acid and a base and the pH scale. This week the classes conducted initial tests on common household items to determine where they fit on the acid-base scale. They used an indicator that changes color when it is mixed with an acid or a base.
